The Founder’s Story
In 2002, Russ Smart, the company’s founder, was referred to a lady who had her home foreclosed because the bank did not pay out on their mortgage insurance. Russ wanted to get the message out to as many people as possible and turned to the best information portal he could find, the Internet. As a result, he pioneered proper life insurance sales over the Internet. He established a network of experienced insurance advisors with over 300 years of combined experience to accomplish this. Our expert advisors can answer just about any question that might arise and know where to get the answer if they don’t. Today, IDC Insurance continues to be a leader in the marketplace. Our advisors are licensed to sell life, health, travel and mortgage insurance products to individuals, families and businesses across Canada.
